Lucy Collection
"Lucy" was discovered in 1974 in Ethiopia, as the oldest link to modern man. She would have stood about 3 ½ feet tall and weighed about 60 lbs. The anthropologists who found her celebrated by dancing to the Beatles song, "Lucy in the sky with Diamonds," and she was given the name "Lucy." The first time Peaches painted his "Lucy," it came from a primordial place inside of him. He studied the painting for a year; then decided to follow Lucy and see where she would take him.
